1. What We Collect
We collect account identity data (via Clerk), tool prompts, generated outputs, saved work, and limited operational logs needed to run, secure, and improve ClassXL.
2. How We Use Data
Data is used to provide educational features, save user progress, enforce safety protections, prevent abuse, and monitor reliability.
3. Student Data Protections
Student-facing tools include content safety filters and school-appropriate restrictions. We do not sell student personal information.
4. FERPA and COPPA Alignment
For school-managed deployments, ClassXL supports district and school obligations under FERPA and COPPA through contractual controls, school-directed processing, and school-managed consent workflows where applicable.
5. Third-Party Processors
ClassXL uses vetted providers for authentication and AI generation. Providers process only the data required to fulfill service requests.
6. School Requests
Schools can request export or deletion of school-managed data by contacting the address listed in the Data Retention page.
